Use of SealSend
SealSend provides secure messaging, encrypted email package workflows, Gmail-connected email features, and ION wallet identity features through its mobile app and related products.
By using SealSend, you agree to use it responsibly and only in ways that comply with applicable laws and the rules of any third-party services you connect.
No Server-Side Storage of User Data
SealSend is designed so user data is not collected or stored on SealSend-controlled servers. We do not store message content, email content, Gmail data, wallet secrets, recovery phrases, PINs, biometric data, encryption keys, contact lists, or media files on our side.
Gmail Access
If you connect Gmail, the mobile app uses OAuth permissions to read, write, send, and delete emails so the app can provide email workflows and SealSend encrypted email package support.
Gmail access and email processing happen on the client side. SealSend does not store Gmail data, email content, or OAuth-derived email data on SealSend-controlled servers.
Wallet and Identity Responsibilities
You are responsible for protecting your ION wallet, wallet address, recovery phrase, device access, PIN, biometric unlock, and any credentials connected to your SealSend use.
SealSend does not store wallet recovery phrases or wallet secrets on our side and cannot recover them for you.
Relay, ION, and Pinata
The mobile app may connect to a relay server for delivery connectivity, interact with the ION blockchain for wallet identity and balance-related features, and interact with Pinata for media handling.
- The relay server is not used to store plaintext content, Gmail data, wallet secrets, or user media on our side.
- ION blockchain activity may involve public blockchain data outside SealSend's control.
- Pinata media handling is part of the app workflow and is not SealSend server-side storage.
User Responsibilities
You agree not to use SealSend to:
- Violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
- Attempt to compromise, overload, or abuse the app, relay connectivity, or connected services.
- Send unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.
- Misrepresent your identity or attempt to access accounts, wallets, or data that are not yours.
Third-Party Services
SealSend may depend on services outside our control, including Google/Gmail, ION blockchain infrastructure, and Pinata. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.
Availability
SealSend may change, improve, pause, or discontinue features over time. The mobile app and related services may be updated as the product evolves.
No Warranty
SealSend is provided as-is and as available. We work to build private and secure communication tools, but we do not guarantee that the app, third-party services, blockchain networks, relay connectivity, or media services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available.
Changes
If these Terms and Conditions change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of SealSend after changes means you accept the updated terms.
